Why Us

Deer Fear is our organic and humane solution to deer eating your/our plants in Bergen County.  For example, in River Vale, we have 10 times the amount of deer than considered tolerable/healthy according to a 2019 study .  Many residents have spent $100´s sometimes $1,000´s of dollars on their landscape to wake up to the disappointment of deer and or rabbits devouring their flowers and plants.

After suffering through similar issues we decided to work on a solution.  After much trial and error, we created Deer Fear.  Unlike other deer repellents, this safe enough that we have consumed a sample of each batch we prepare.  The QA process is challenging but allows us to confidently stand behind our product and spray our flower beds, trees and shrubs while having pets and small children in our households. We strongly recommend you do not consume the product (although we do) as the level of heat is severe.

We are our toughest critic.  With multiple flower beds and shrubs, our goal was to have a fenceless and cageless landscape. 

Many people have asked, "is deer fear guaranteed".  We guarantee that if you use it as directed, you will enjoy your flowers, plants and shrubs.  The Deer and Rabbits will come by and they may nibble at your plants occasionally.  But if you spray regularly and after significant rainfall, you will have amazing results.
